Aras PLM Data Cloner

A tool to export business data from Aras PLM to another Aras PLM instance, handling existing data and relationships between items. This tool was created to help supporters at CERN clone production data to a test environment.

This tool sits on top of CERN's existing PLM UI and uses a custom built TypeScript API to communicate with the Aras PLM servers.

Using this tool allows you to copy CAD files to the new instance, create new database items and new versions of existing items, and maintain the correct relationships in the structure.

This Website

This was my first time using Astro, and it's definitely grown on me in that time. I wanted to create a website that was simple and easy to maintain whilst still handling complexity well, and Astro has been perfect for that.

The site is still a work in progress, hence why none of these projects have any definition past some basic information. I will be adding more information in the future, but for now, I wanted to get the site up and running.

10 out of 10. I would absolutely recommend Astro to anyone looking to create a static site.
